SELLA CONTROLS is pleased to announce a contract award from Huntsman
SELLA CONTROLS is pleased to announce a contract award for the upgrade of legacy Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) at Huntsman. This is the second system to be upgraded for Hunstman following the first one last year. The project includes the replacement of an obsolete solid-state based logic solver with a SIL 3 PES based on the HIMA HIMax automation product.
In addition a legacy HIMA H51q PES will also be migrated to the new HIMA HIQuad X product, this upgrade path does not require replacement or modification of I/O modules for field cabling resulting in significant cost savings whilst providing an upgraded SIS that complies with the latest safety and security standards.
Sella Controls are the leading System Integrator offering HIMA’s new HIQuad X product as part of obsolescence upgrades program and commitment to supporting existing customers with a cost effective upgrade path.
Andy Tonge, Sella Controls Sales Manager comments “This is a significant project for the business and demonstrates our long term commitment to supporting our customers through obsolescence issues.”
